Working as a team is very important to success. You can work by yourself, it’s hard for you to achieve success. If it is a team work, there are always some thought that you haven’t thought about. Listening to other people, absorb their good ideas is every important for project success.
One small experience, 4 teams and each has about 4-8 members. Watch video and do quesitons first by individual, then discussion as a team and do question as a team. Calculate score after getting the correct answers to the question. There are rarely fails that individual score is always lower than team score, that is, work as a team, the score is high. Work by yourself, the score is low. This is team effect.
Question remains, what kind of team is a success team? Here are five levels to compose a high-success/performing teams.

Trust is the base for all working teams. Based on trust, the team member can debate on subject without hiding their views.
Respect each team member’s view, explain why if it does not work. This way, team member can truly buy your view/thoughts and follow you.
Working on project together, each team member needs to be accountable on what he/she is doing. With each member’s accountability defined, the team can focus on the result it is about to deliver.
